Rapper Vic Mensa arrested at Dulles Airport in Washington DC, allegedly had shrooms, LSD in luggage

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago rapper Vic Mensa was arrested at Dulles Airport exterior Washington D.C. for alleged possession of unlawful medicine, police mentioned Monday.

In keeping with authorities, the 28-year-old landed at Dulles on a flight from Ghana at about 7 a.m. Saturday. Throughout a second baggage examination, Clients and Border Safety officers mentioned they discovered a cache of medication in his baggage.

Police mentioned CBP brokers discovered 41 grams of liquid LSD, about 124 grams of psilocybin capsules, 178 grams of psilocybin gummies, and 6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms within the baggage.

Mensa, whose actual identify is Sufferer Kewsi Mensah, has been charged with felony narcotic possession expenses and was taken into custody by the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority. It was not clear if a bond listening to had been held.
