Police Arrest 77 Suspects With Dangerous Weapons And Illicit Drugs In Minna (Photos)
The suspected miscreants have been apprehended by the duty pressure group with harmful weapons and illicit medicine over the weekend.
Seventy-seven suspects caught with harmful weapons and illicit medicine have been apprehended by the operatives of the Niger State Police Command in Minna.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in an announcement on Monday, January 31, mentioned the suspects have been arrested over the weekend.
“Seventy-seven (77) extra suspected miscreants have been apprehended by the duty pressure group with harmful weapons and illicit medicine over the weekend from Twenty eighth-Thirtieth January, 2022 at Tudun-Fulani, Rafin-Yashi, Gbeganu and Soje-A space of Minna in furtherance to the police effort in sanitizing the town,” he said.
“That is along with about 100 (100) hoodlums arrested from Limawa, Anguwar-Daji, Anguwar-Sarki, Abayi-Shut, Kwangila, Anguwar-Biri, Anguwar-Kaje, Anguwar-Kadara, New-Market and so forth,”
The Command reassured residents that the Police isn’t resting on its oars in guaranteeing peace and tranquility in our group.
“The residents/residents are hereby inspired to go about their lawful enterprise with out worry of molestation, intimidation or harrasment.” the PPRO added.
