Playboy Responds After Holly Madison Alleges She Was “Gaslit” in “Cult-Like” Mansion

Playboy has weighed in after former bunny Holly Madison made a number of allegations about her time within the Playboy Mansion.

In a sneak peek of the forthcoming docuseries, Secrets and techniques of Playboy, Holly shared, “The explanation I believe the mansion was very cult-like wanting again on it’s as a result of we had been all sort of gaslit.”

She mentioned the celebs had been “anticipated” to think about writer Hugh Hefner as “this actually good man.”

Holly, who starred in The Women Subsequent Door with Hugh from 2005 to 2009, added, “And also you began to really feel like, ‘Oh, he’s not what they are saying within the media, he’s only a good man.’” 

“One other factor that jogs my memory of a cult is how simple it’s to get so remoted from the surface world there,” the 42-year-old writer mentioned. “You had a 9 o’clock curfew. You had been inspired to not have mates over. You weren’t actually allowed to go away except it was like a household vacation.”
