NSCDC arrest man, 60, for allegedly raping 9-year-old girl in Kwara

The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command, has arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly raping a 9-year-old woman in Kiama Native Authorities Space of the state.

The suspect, Jerimiah Oyedoki of Ileloja compound, was allegedly caught within the act by the sufferer’s dad and mom.

Spokesperson of the command, Babawale Afolabi, who disclosed this in a press release on Saturday, Could 29, in Ilorin, stated that the case was reported at its Divisional Headquarters, Kiama.

“On Friday, Could 28, round 5:30 p.m., Jerimiah Oyedokun of Ileloja compound, Kiama, was caught within the act by the dad and mom of the nine-year-old, of the identical space,” Afolabi acknowledged.

“The suspect enticed the sufferer by giving her N50. He has confessed to the crime, whereas the minor has been taken to the Normal Hospital, Kiama, for correct medical consideration. The case is now on the state headquarters for additional prosecution and the suspect will likely be charged to court docket after investigation,” Afolabi added.
