No One Put A Gun On Your Head To Cut E-Levy Cake – John Dumelo Fires Majority Leader

Ghanaian actor, farmer, and a member of the Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dumelo has lambasted the Majority chief Osei Kyei Bonsu over his controversial E-levy birthday cake.

Recall that the birthday cake of the Majority chief of parliament Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu went viral yesterday on social media. Many Ghanaians had been of the opinion that the NPP member needed to spite them thus the e-levy cake.

Responding to the criticism on social media, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, in an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM mentioned he was not the mind behind the cake but it surely was fairly a cake gifted to him by a businessman whom he refused to call.

“There was an official cake that was introduced by my wife after which two others that had been despatched in as presents; a smaller one and the opposite which had turn into the subject was despatched by a businessman whom I might not point out due to his rumored affiliation to a sure political occasion”, he mentioned

In a fast rebuttal, Jhon Dumelo took to his Twitter and questioned Osei Kyei if he was pressured to take the cake, describing his actions as insensitive. “Nobody put a gun in your head to chop that E-levy cake. Whether or not it was a present or not, it is best to have rejected it. That’s insensitive.
