Nigerian Police Affirm Killing Of Two Gunmen Imposing Sit-at-home Order In Anambra

The police mentioned the gunmen have been suspected to be members of the Indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB), who have been allegedly seen alongside Umunze highway within the Orumba South Native Authorities Space of the state.

The Command’s spokesman, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, who confirmed the killing of the gunmen in an announcement issued in Awka, the state capital, alleged that the victims have been obstructing the motion of highway customers going for his or her companies.

He mentioned, “The Anambra State Command operatives on crime prevention patrol within the early hours of at this time, 16/5/2022 alongside Umunze, highway, Orumba South LGA, interact arms-bearing gunmen allegedly imposing sit-at-home in Anambra State.
