New Girl’s Lamorne Morris Reveals He Was Actually Allergic to Ferguson the Cat

As Winnie the Bish would say, Lamorne was in a “furry scenario.”

The hilarious New Lady re-watch podcast, Welcome to Our Present, from iHeartMedia and hosted by Zooey Deschanel, Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone, premiered in January. And in an unique interview with E! Information, Hannah and Lamorne received actual concerning the beloved sitcom and revealed a secret that we didn’t see coming. 

Because it seems, Lamorne was allergic to Ferguson and apparently, it was so unhealthy that he needed to “begin taking meds for it.” 

“It was past simply taking meds I’ll let you know that a lot,” the actor shared. “There have been lots of issues we needed to undergo to ensure that me to work with Ferguson.”

The pair defined that when the producers wrote Ferguson into the storyline, they didn’t find out about Lamorne’s allergy symptoms. However as soon as he was written in, there was no turning again. 

“Proper out the gate, followers instantly beloved Ferguson,” Lamorne defined. “So it was like, I can’t swap to a cat that I’m not allergic to. I feel we tried in some episodes, like we performed with the concept of different animals, [but] Ferguson is king.”
