WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, MICH.. – The physique of a Minnesota lady present in a western Michigan ditch has been recognized 27 years later.
Michigan authorities say DNA and genealogical checks helped remedy the thriller. The stays have been Shelly Rae Kephart, also referred to as Shelly Rae Christian. Christian was 29 years previous in 1993 when she went lacking from Hennepin County, Minnesota. Up till the lady’s identify was recognized, she was recognized to detectives solely as Matilda.
Hunters found the stays in 1994, about 12 miles northwest of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Christian was the sufferer of a murder.
