Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is a nicely-regarded Ghanaian politician and a previous Member of Parliament and former District Main Executive for the Fanteakwa North district of the Japanese Region of Ghana.

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is also a previous Eastern Regional Minister and a previous National Organizer of the Nationwide Democratic Congress.

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is at this time the national Chairman of the Countrywide Democratic Congress(NDC).

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo was born on March 10, 1962, in Kyebi in the Japanese Area of Ghana. He is the son of the late Mary Gyawubea Badu but there are facts about his father.

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo commenced his education and learning at the Asamankese, Anum L/A Center School. He then proceeded to the Akwatia Technological Institute for secondary instruction from 1979 to 1982.
