Man leaves wife after she birthed her 5th set of twins
An interesting story coming out of Uganda is that of a man who dumped his wife due to how fertile she is, so much so that she gave birth to 10 children.
The woman known as Nalongo Gloria is the mother five set of twins, but what was meant to be a blessing turned to a curse for her.
She told NTV’s Mwasuze Mutya that her husband, Ssalongo left her after she gave birth to the last set of twins which are the 9th and 10th children.
She said that he asked her to go back to people that married her off to him but she could no longer locate them.

“When I got pregnant with twins on the third day, the man said this is too much for him and told me to go home.
Where he was sending me, I didn’t have their numbers anymore because I came to Kampala to work as a house girl,” she recounted.
Gloria further revealed that Ssalongo gave her terms and conditions if they were to remain together as husband and wife.
However, after seeing that she seemed to be destined to bear twins, the mother returned home one day to see that her husband had packed his things and left.
“The man told me that if I can’t produce one child, he can’t take care of me with the dogs,” Gloria disclosed.
This left her burdened with the responsibilities of taking care of all the children. Sadly, along the way, Gloria lost some of her children.
Gloria added; “I could have 10 kids, but one pair flew away and one kid died. I have seven. A man buried a child in Zirobwe. He didn’t take him to Masaka.
“I don’t regret giving birth to all these children. I know their father doesn’t like them, and I can’t drop them at his place. Despite the challenges, I will never abandon my kids. I know God will provide. I handed my things to the Lord. I have suffered but God knows best.”
