Man arraigned in courtroom after stealing cranium from a Lagos cemetery

The police on Tuesday Could 31, arraigned a 38-year-old man, Ebuka Enuma earlier than a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ courtroom in Lagos for alleged possession of a human cranium.

 

The suspect who lives at Bariga space of Lagos, is claimed to have stolen the cranium after he broke into Amukoko Cemetery and excavated an previous grave on Could 13.

 

Prosecution Counsel, ASP Rita Momah stated Enuma was arrested whereas making an attempt to depart the cemetery.

 

The offence, she stated, contravenes the provisions of Part 238 of the Felony Legislation of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).

Shortly after the suspect pleaded not responsible to the cost in opposition to him, Chief Justice of the Peace Adeola Adedayo admitted him to bail within the sum of N300,000 with two accountable sureties.

 

The case was then adjourned until June 28 for point out.
