Charlie Sheen, Major League

Charlie Sheen played fictional Cleveland Indians pitcher Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn in the 1989 movie “Major League.”

The real Cleveland Indians are in the World Series, so what better time for a “Major League” sequel? Charlie Sheen’s campaign to throw out a first pitch as Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn was rejected, but he revealed Wednesday that he’s in talks to reprise the character for another “Major League” movie with original cast members Tom Berenger, Corbin Bernsen and Wesley Snipes. “Major League 3,” which ignores the second sequel (“Major League: Back to the Minors”), was written by the first film’s writer and director David Ward and follows Vaughn’s struggles to connect with his fast-pitching rebel son.

It’s official: Raven-Symone is leaving “The View” to work on a “That’s So Raven” reboot/spinoff. The 30-year-old actress said she’s “excited and sad… but mostly excited” to leave the New York-based daytime talk show later this year and moving back to L.A. for a new sitcom based on the Disney Channel comedy series that ran from 2003 to 2007. She’ll play her original character Raven Baxter as a now grown-up single mother of two children, one of whom will learn that she has psychic visions.

“The Crow” star Michael Massee is dead at 61, his agent announced Wednesday. No details of the “24,” “The Blacklist,” “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Se7en” actor’s death have been revealed. Massee is best known for playing Funboy in the 1994 cult classic “The Crow,” where he accidentally killed co-star Brandon Lee during production with a prop gun that was improperly loaded. “I don’t think you ever get over something like that,” he said in 2005.

And Kevin Hart did a rap battle with Nick Jonas as their hip-hop alter egos, “Chocolate Droppa” and “Vanilla Wafer.” Jonas compares himself to Drake and Hart to Meek, while the comedian rhymes about the ex-Jonas Brothers singer’s “whack” white jeans and “singing something that sounds like a Jonas flow.” Hart has been promoting his Chocolate Droppa mixtape “What Now?” featuring Migos, T.I., Trey Songz, Tink, Lil Yachty and more.
