The foundations for snowshoeing competitions are just like different races — there’s a begin line and athletes should keep alongside the well-marked course till the end line. In snowshoe racing, every competitor should reattach the snowshoe if it falls off, they usually’re allowed to submit an offense if one other athlete comes into contact with them on the course.

You may register on RunningGuru.com for the 5K, 10K, relay or child’s run. In line with the registration web page, the course is open to each novice and skilled snowshoers, and winds its approach via woods below a few of the highest peaks in Colorado.

The course begins and ends on the Nordic ski warmup loops on the multi-purpose subject at Colorado Mountain School Leadville.

These can register as highschool groups or people, faculty groups or people, or just as public people for the Colorado Cup 5K, Colorado Cup 10K or Colorado Cup 2K. Groups should pay a price of $100 to take part, however all particular person entries are $35 or much less.
