Lady commends cab driver for returning N6,300 after she accidentally paid N7k instead of N700

A Nigerian lady has lauded a bolt driver for his honesty after she mistakenly sent him in excess of the transport fare she was supposed to pay.

According to the lady known as @Adammayie on Twitter, the transport fare cost N700, but she accidentally transferred N7,000 to the driver she identified as Kehinde.

After realising her error, she reached out to him and pleaded for him to send 6k back to her, but to her greatest surprise he sent the exact balance she was meant to receive after deducting his N700.

Impressed by his rare display of honesty, she shared the story on social media.

In her words; ”I order a ride (bolt) and the driver MR KEHINDE AMBROSE OBASANYA, 08103747998 it was a good ride to my destination. Ride was 700 naira and I mistakenly sent 7000 naira to him.

I called him to please if possible send 6000 naira back to me. he promised to send back the money in the next one hour.. kinda didn’t believe him after the end of the call, but I kept my fingers crossed.

Lo and behold he did send back 6300 naira back to me. I thanked him very well cos its not easy to meet good people. so my tweet hearts, you can call him for your personal rides.”
