Katie Piper Husband: Richard James Sutton – Carpenter

Katie Piper got married to Richard James Sutton, a Carpenter, on 6 November, 2015.

Richard James Sutton is a carpenter and builder, He started dating Katie Piper in 2013 after being set up by a mutual friend.

Richard proposed to Katie back in December 2014 and the pair married the following November.

Talking about the moment Richard proposed, Katie has said: “It was quite a surprise actually, we got engaged a couple of weeks before Christmas so it was a really nice end to a year in my life I never thought I’d be lucky enough to experience, so yes, I feel really privileged and lucky.”

Speaking of their early days as a couple, Katie has said: “James was chatty, witty and looked me squarely in the eye. He never once mentioned my burns, and because he didn’t, I didn’t either.

On 14 March 2014, she gave birth to her first child, Belle Elizabeth. In December 2014, she announced her engagement to Sutton.

On 13 December 2017, she gave birth to her second child, Penelope Diane.

Formerly an Atheist, Piper converted to Christianity after the acid attack.
