Kansas City police says officer shot man in hand during a confrontation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas Metropolis police officer shot a person within the hand throughout a confrontation close to Troost Lake, the division stated.

The taking pictures occurred round 6 p.m. Monday at twenty ninth Road and The Paseo after a number of individuals reported a person strolling close to the lake and threatening individuals with a handgun, police stated.

The person continued these threats even after police arrived, based on police, and he was shot within the hand by an officer. He was taken to a hospital with accidents not believed to be life-threatening.

Police haven’t launched the person’s title or the title of the officer who shot him. The Missouri State Freeway Patrol is investigating the taking pictures.
