Judge dismisses lawsuit over Park Hill Golf Course development

DENVER — A lawsuit submitted by Save Open Room Denver from the mayor and city planners in excess of the Park Hill Golfing Course has been dismissed.

The lawsuit was submitted previous June about any opportunity improvement of the 155 acres of land previously recognised as Park Hill Golfing Study course.

The group argued that any prepared improvement was illegal because the conservation easement experienced not been lifted.

A Denver District choose dismissed the accommodate Tuesday, ruling that the group’s promises had been factual but they lacked any legally guarded interest in the easement at concern.

In November, Denver voters authorised an ordinance to continue to keep the previous golf system as is by requiring a citywide vote on any new development on land guarded by a conservation easement, like Park Hill Golfing Training course.
