Veteran Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has revealed why he doesn’t comply with anybody on common photograph and video sharing app, Instagram.
The thespian who has over two million followers on the platform famous that he doesn’t comply with any Instagram accounts as a result of he sees social media as a market.
In response to Jim Iyke, Instagram is a ‘pseudo’ actuality and other people ought to deal with it as such.
He made this revelation in an interview “Tea with Tay” podcast host Temisan Emmanuel, which was launched on Friday, January 28.
Talking with Temisan, he mentioned,
“From day one I obtained on social media, I didn’t wish to comply with anyone. I needed to ascertain the truth that this can be a market place. It’s a pseudo actuality there. It’s not what individuals wish to take as their on a regular basis life.
When you see any of my posts, it’s tailor-made. I don’t publish about my household. I don’t publish my pleasures. There are specific issues I feel needs to be left for one to expertise alone.There are three tiers of life that I stay. I stay the personal life, the general public life, and the key life. Social media is public life. If I wish to make a press release in type, if I wish to make a press release on my ideology and ideas, if I wish to market one thing, or if I wish to set a brand new understanding on my opinion of one thing, that’s the place I needs to be. If I’m having an excellent time with those who don’t thoughts being on that platform, I’m going there.”
He added that he’s shielding his kids from social media in order that their behaviors wouldn’t be scrutinized or noticed in public.
