Jamie Foxx saves a life; ‘Neighbors 2’ trailer; ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’: PM Buzz

mazing Spider-Man 2″ villain Jamie Foxx is a hero in real life. California Highway Patrol confirmed that the 48-year-old actor helped saved a man whose car hit a ditch and flipped over multiple times in front of his home near L.A. Foxx, who heard the crash and screams, ran to unbuckle the driver and dragged him 30 feet away from the vehicle as it became engulfed in flames. Driver Brett Kyle, 32, was hospitalized with multiple injuries and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Zac Efron is shirtless again in the first trailer for “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.” He returns as the frat bro who fought with Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, but this time he and Dave Franco will help them take down the Kappa Kappa Nu sorority that moves in next to the couple. Chloe Grace Moretz, Selena Gomez, Lisa Kudrow, Billy Eichner and more will join in on the raunchy, very R-rated fun when “Neighbors 2” hits theaters May 20.

Ha ha! The first teaser trailer for “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday” is here, and Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) is back in all his ’90s glory. The movie, produced by Judd Apatow, follows “a fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee Herman to take his first-ever holiday in this epic story of friendship and destiny,” But it’ll premiere exclusively March 18 on Netflix, where “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” is already streaming.

And Tower of Power founder Mic Gillette died of a heart attack over the weekend, according to Rolling Stone. He was 64. The first trumpet player for the funk group led their brass-heavy sound, which influenced other artists with songs like “So Very Hard to Go,” “This Time It’s Real” and “What is Hip?” Gillette also played with Blood, Sweat and Tears and recorded with artists like the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Santana, Sheryl Crow and Rod Stewart, but spent much of the past two decades focusing on his family and teaching in the Oakland area.
