MUNICH (Reuters) – NATO Secretary-Normal Jens Stoltenberg on Saturday urged Moscow to cease getting ready for an assault on Ukraine or face harsh penalties amid fears that an invasion might be imminent.
“It’s by no means too late for Russia to step again, to cease getting ready for conflict and to begin partaking in diplomatic talks with NATO and NATO allies to discover a political answer,” he advised the Munich Safety Convention.
“If Russia needs to divide us, they really get the other, they get a extra united NATO. And if Russia needs much less NATO at its borders, they get the other, they get extra NATO,” he added.
