“It’s deliberate and a mockery to our nation” – Reno Omokri calls out DSTV for assigning channel 419 to NTA – –
Nigerian activist and lawyer, Reno Omokri has referred to as out DSTV for assigning channel 419 to the Nigerian government-owned broadcaster, NTA.
Reno in a put up he shared on his Instagram web page, asserted that it’s a deliberate try and mock and de-market Nigeria and it’s residents.
In keeping with him, DSTV assigning 419 which is synonymous with fraud to NTA carries a robust subliminal message in regards to the nation.
He additional chided the Minister of Data, Lai Mohammed, and the Nigerian Broadcasting Company for not taking any motion towards it.
He wrote,
“Why has DSTV, a South African firm working in Nigeria, chosen to offer the Nigerian Tv Authority, @NTANetwork, the frequency channel of 419?
That’s NOT a coincidence. It’s a deliberate motion. It’s subversive and carries a really highly effective subliminal message that demarkets Nigeria as a model.
It’s a mockery of our nation and its residents. And if Lai Mohammed was alive to his obligations, @DSTVNigeria must be answering questions!
The Nigerian Broadcast Fee, that must have noticed this, are as a substitute extra centered on sanctioning radio and TV stations that criticise the Buhari administration. What a pity!”
