Is Will Smith Scientologist? Christian Or Church Of Scientology Theory

The incident that happen at the Academy Awards where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage created lots of rumors about Smith being a Scientologist. For a couple of years, Smith and his wife were rumored for being involved in Scientology.

Smith stunned spectators at the Academy Awards on Sunday night when he stormed the stage and struck Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about his wife.

Fans started commenting on the actor’s involvement in Scientology on Twitter. Smith has openly talked about him following Christianity and bout his grandmother’s teaching. 

However, Jade was rumored to be involved in Scientology. In 2018, Smith remarked on Red Table Talk that he wants to “get it on record” that the couple “never was Scientologist.” 

People had spotted Jade at Scientology Celebrity Centre all the time, unlike Will Smith. Smith has opened the school at the New Village Leadership Academy, which was considered his mysterious private school in tony Calabassas, California as a school of Scientology.

It was opened in 2008 and quietly closed in 2013. As per The Daily Beast, four former teachers and administrators at the school said every aspect of the school was Scientology bled, and it was “essentially a Scientology school.”

Most of the teachers there were claimed to be Scientologist and taught students Scientology methods of learning. 

There were many queries about Will Smith’s Family religion earlier as his wife was seen at a Scientology church. There have been many rumors about their family’s faith in religion.

Will Smith is a Christian. Jada had since denied the rumor of them being Scientologists and Will also openly talked about his faith in God. He was raised in a Baptist household and attended a Roman Catholic school and church.

Smith considered his grandmother his spiritual teacher. He often donates to Christian charities. His biggest donation receiver is an organization called Yesha Ministries of Philadelphia.
