Iowa QB coach Ken O’Keefe strikes to off-field function in program

Ken O’Keefe will transfer from Iowa quarterbacks coach to an off-the-field function with the Hawkeyes, coach Kirk Ferentz introduced Wednesday.

O’Keefe was a member of Ferentz’s first employees at Iowa, serving as offensive coordinator from 1999-2011 in addition to receivers coach (1999) and quarterbacks coach (2000-2011).

O’Keefe left in 2011 for a training place within the NFL and returned to Iowa Metropolis to teach quarterbacks in 2017.

“My total household and I are extremely grateful to teach Ferentz, the gamers — particularly the quarterbacks I’ve been privileged to work with — the employees, the College of Iowa, and the good Hawkeye soccer followers for all of their assist these a few years,” O’Keefe mentioned.

Iowa didn’t specify what O’Keefe’s function could be going ahead.
