“I Will Quickly Send My Son Back To Ukraine After The War”-Father Of Ghanaian-Ukraine Based Student Says (Video)

A father of one of the Ghanaian students studying in Ukraine who just came back home has intimated that he would send his son back to Ukraine to continue his studies after the war.

According to Mr. Bismarck, he has already spent a lot of money on his son’s education in Ukraine, hence it will be inappropriate if he should halt his education due to the tensions in Ukraine after Russia’s invasion.

As a reminder, the first batch of Ghanaian students in Ukraine arrived in Accra yesterday after they cried out to the Ghanaian government to evacuate them from the war-hit country as tensions escalate. They channeled their plea through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as they called on the government of Ghana to withdraw them from the war-hit country before matters get out of control.

The first batch of Ghanaian students in Ukraine were first moved to Romania before finally landing home in Ghana. They have expressed their undying gratitude to the Ghanaian government, the ministry and also the ambassadors for helping them come back home.

Well, a parent Mr. Bismarck has stated that he was in a discomforting state when he heard about the clash between Ukraine and Russia and prayed for his son to be returned home. But, upon hearing that some of the students have been safely evacuated to Romania, he reduced his worries and was assured that his son is safe.

However, he stated that he wouldn’t hesitate sending his son back to Ukraine to continue with his studies because he has already spent a lot of money on his education in Ukraine.
