I Want To Create The Next Line Of Generational DJs- DJ Kaywise

Nigerian disc jockey, Ayorinde Okiki, better known as DJ Kaywise has revealed his intentions to pass the mantle to the young generation and create better DJ’s by drawing on his experience.

DJ Kaywise is the founder of Kaywise Academy, with the keen interest and goal of grooming the younger generation to take up the mantle and lead on. He currently has a hit song with Phyno titled Highway which is making massive waves.

According to him, his experience in the industry has taught him that with the proper structure in place, Nigerian entertainers will succeed and go global. DJ Kaywise was involved in an interview with Potpourri where he laid bare his plans to empower the youth.

He said: “I grew up in an environment where there was and still no proper structure that would guarantee success of stakeholders in the industry and I was moved to contribute my part to correcting the problem, hence the birth of Kaywise Academy.”

“My mission is to create the next line of generational DJs that would show the world that Nigeria has what it takes to be one of the best when it comes to music and sounds. We can’t continue to wait on those who will not help our situation, so my academy was floated to contribute my quota and give hope and voice to the people,” he added.
