I learnt kidnapping from watching Zubby Michael movies – Suspect
A kidnap suspect recognized as Ayobamidele Ayodele has confessed that he learnt the act of kidnapping by watching actor, Zubby Michael’s motion pictures.
Ayodele was arrested by the Tunji Disu-led Drive Intelligence Response Staff in Ogun State for abducting a six-year-old boy named Ebube Eze.

His arrest was effected after the victim’s father despatched a petition to the Inspector Normal of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
In line with Vanguard, the sufferer was kidnapped from Remson Group of Faculties, positioned in Ojo Alaba space of Lagos, and was stored hostage for 4 days till a ransom of N550,000 was paid for his launch.
Throughout interrogation, the 23-year-old suspect confessed that he learnt kidnapping abilities from watching Nollywood motion pictures.
His phrases; “Zubby Michael is my favourite Nollywood actor and he’s good at kidnapping roles.
“I made a decision to check out a few of the strategies utilized by Zubby to kidnap youngsters and adults within the motion pictures.
“I began by visiting a number of colleges round Ojo to see the potential of selecting youngsters with out anybody noticing.”
The suspect revealed that he used the ways he learnt to kidnap the kid in November 16, 2021.
Apologising for his crimes, he mentioned, “I’m sorry for inflicting his household a lot ache. I’m not a cultist or an armed robber. I don’t have a gang.
“I simply skilled myself by watching Zubby Michael. My dad and mom skilled me very effectively, I used to be simply impatient and grasping.”
