I had to end my marriage else it would’ve killed me – Onyeka Onwenu

Veteran Nigerian singer and actress, Onyeka Onwenu has opened up on her marriage which crashed a few years sgo whereas she was nonetheless a younger girl.

The music star stated that though she didn’t need her marriage to finish, it might have killed her if she stayed.

Onwenu said this in an interview with media character, Kikilomo Atanda-Owo, including that her marriage was tough and wasn’t good for her and her youngsters.

She stated: “I went via my marriage, it was tough as a result of I actually didn’t need my marriage to finish however I couldn’t take it anymore, it might have killed me.

“I at all times say this and that’s the fact. It was not good for the youngsters to reside in that type of atmosphere the place the mom is depressed, the mom is carrying the load of the entire household.”

Onyeka Onwenu, whose estranged husband had remained a thriller through the years reportedly married a Yoruba Muslim in 1984 and so they have been blessed with two youngsters.
