Hunt down AbokiFX Owner Before He Ruins FG Efforts To Stabilize Naira, Arewa Youth Charges CBN

Arewa Youth Assembly has charged the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to hunt down AbokiFX owner before he ruins federal government’s effort to stabilize the naira.

 

Expressing concerned over the activities of the owner of Aboki FX, an online platform that gathers and displays parallel market rates in Nigeria, the Arewa Youth noted the negative effects of the activities on the nation’s economy.

The Acting Speaking of Assembly, Comrade Tahir Muhammad Azare, in a statement, noted with dismay that the activities are deliberately designed to ruin the Federal Government’s efforts to stabilise the naira.

 

“We therefore commend the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, to clamp down on the activities.

 

“We call on all security agencies to cooperate with the CBN Governor to tackle this and other economic saboteurs,” the statement said.
