How Did Jean Louis Trintignant Die

French actor Jean Trintignant died in his home in southwest France, surrounded by his family.

His friend Bertrand Cortellini, who paid him a visit on Thursday before his passing, did not provide details of his death.

Although, there are news making the rounds that the actor suffered prostate cancer.

Life of Jean Louis Trintignant

Jean was born on December 11, 1930, and had made his acting debut in 1951.

 

Jean is best known for the movie And God Created Woman (1956).

He was one of the most talented actors of the post-war era. Some of his notable films in which he starred include The Great Silence (1968), The Conformist (1970), Flic Story (1975), Three Colours: Red (1994), The City of Lost Children (1995).

 

He also appeared in several classic films of European cinema.

Jean is a recipient of several prestigious awards such as The Silver Bear Award, The Cannes Film Festival Award, and The César Award.

The actor is survived by his wife, Mariane Hoepfner and three adult children.
