Based on a number of stories, the actor fatally shot a cinematographer and injured a director throughout a tragic accident when a prop gun discharged on the New Mexico film set of the movie ‘Rust.’
“There was an accident as we speak on the New Mexico set of ‘Rust’ involving the misfire of a prop gun with blanks,” a manufacturing spokesperson informed Deadline.
The Western drama’s director of pictures, Halyna Hutchins, and its director, Joel Souza, had been struck within the incident, in response to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Workplace.
