Hines Edward Ward, Jr. was born on the 8th March 1976, in Seoul, South Korea, of African, American and Korean descent. He is best known to the world for being the greatest American football player in the position of wide receiver in the history of the Pittsburgh Steelers team, and the best blocking wide receiver in history of National Football League (NLF). Currently, he is recognized as a leading analyst for NBC.

Until the beginning of 2000s he had a little success playing for the team, but in 2001 season, Ward earned his first Pro Bowl appearance, which was soon followed by three consecutive all star games in seasons 2002, 2003 and 2004, as he became the leader in reception of the team. After he retired, thanks to his successful career as a professional football player, Ward decided to try himself as an actor, and managed to land small roles in TV shows such as “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”, “Mike and Mike in the Morning”, “Rome Is Burning”, etc. He also appeared in the blockbuster movie “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012) in the role of Gotham Rogues Player, and in 2013 in one episode of the TV drama series “The Walking Dead” as Street Walker. In 2011, he was a member of the ABC’s TV show “Dancing with the Stars”, during the 12th season, in which he eventually finished as a winner, together with his professional dance partner Kym Johnson, which also contributed to his net worth.
