Hawker hailed for returning new iPhone 11 that went missing in Victoria Island [Video]
A Nigerian hawker has been lauded for demonstrating uncommon honesty and integrity when faced with a tempting situation.
The man simply identified as Oseni found an iPhone 11 that reportedly went missing in Victoria Island, Lagos state and returned it to the owner.
In a video shared online, the owner of the phone could be heard commending him for choosing to do the right thing. He asked Oseni why he did not sell the iPhone and the man replied that he could not do that because it does not belong to him.
When he asked what the man does for a living, he revealed that he hawks chewing gum on the streets. The phone owner then said he will appreciate Oseni with a little token while urging others to emulate the honest man.
