Gyakie Recounts How She Used To Perform For Her Mother’s Friends When They Come To Their House; Says Her Mother Saw Something In Her

Ghanaian songstress, Jackeline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie has recounted how she used to perform songs for her mother’s friends when they pay them a visit.

According to Gyakie, she believes her mother saw the future in her that’s why she always made her perform for her friends when they come around.

In a tweet, Gyakie revealed she was just a primary school student by then and had no idea the talent she possesses but her mother did.

Apparently, things are starting to make sense to Gyakie after her talent made her one of the famous and young shining stars in the Ghana music industry.

She wrote; I now understand why my mum always asked me to perform for her friends when they come around the house. I was in primary school then and I had no idea what she saw in me 💭💛

In other news, budding Ghanaian musician, Lasmid has revealed he is from a rich home but he is being given harsh treatment by his parents, what most people would describe as “dbee with hard labor”.

Speaking in an interview with the renowned media icon, Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo, Lasmid revealed both parents are not living together and he has also spent most of his time in Accra.

Lasmid stated that he didn’t stay with both parents for that long because he departed from them when he was just about 12-13-years of age.

When asked if departing from home at the tender age had any negative influence on his life, Lasmid stated that he is not a bad kid and never ventured into any bad company.
