Costa Mesa, California., police have recovered a 1962 Chevy II Nova stolen from Inexperienced Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong final week.

Armstrong stated the white basic “has been within the GD household for over 30 years.”

Armstrong said the car has been in the Green Day family for over 30 years.

The automobile was present in an unincorporated space of Orange County about 10 miles away from the place it was stolen together with two guitars and an amplifier that haven’t but been recovered.

Armstrong on Sunday had posted a video urging the thieves to return the automobile and even supplied to bail them out in the event that they received caught.

“To the folks that stole it, the one factor is, like, I don’t need anybody to go to jail. That sucks, you already know,” he stated. “Simply drop it off. Or, you already know, and should you do get caught, I’ll bail you out. I simply need my automobile again.”

Armstrong offered to pay bail for the thieves if they got caught returning it.

Following the restoration, Armstrong thanked his followers on Instagram for his or her assist in getting the phrase out concerning the lacking coupe.
