Gov Obaseki Commiserates With Omoyele Sowore, Says Olajide's Killers Will Be Brought To Book

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has mourned Olajide Sowore, assuring the general public that the state authorities will convey his killers to guide.

 

Obaseki gave the reassurance on Saturday whereas commiserating with a former presidential candidate and writer of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, over the killing of his brother.

 

Olajide, a scholar of Pharmacy on the Igbinedion College Okada, was killed by kidnappers on Saturday within the Okada space of Edo State.

 

The Edo State Police Command had earlier confirmed his demise by way of a press release issued by its spokesman, Kontongs Bello, noting that the stays of the deceased had been deposited at IUTH Mortuary, Okada.

 

However Governor Obaseki assured that the state authorities will work with related safety businesses to research the unlucky incident.

 

“I commiserate with the Sowore household and the Writer of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, over the demise of his brother, Olajide Sowore,” the governor mentioned.

 

“The information of Olajide’s demise is heartbreaking and we’ll make all efforts to convey the perpetrators of the dastardly act to justice.

 

“On behalf of the individuals and Authorities of Edo State, I condole with the Sowore household and pray that God will grant all of the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
