God Won’t Give Nigeria Another President Like Buhari – Governor Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has hit out at his Ebonyi State counterpart, Dave Umahi, who stated God will give Nigeria a president “who has coronary heart like President Muhammadu Buhari” in 2023.

Umahi had made the remarks whereas addressing State Home correspondents on Monday, after assembly with Buhari at Aso Villa in Abuja.

However Wike, in a veiled reference to Umahi, stated that his colleague had lied.

Wike claimed that even Buhari himself is aware of that God gained’t give the nation one other president like him in 2023.

The governor said this throughout a stakeholders’ assembly in Port Harcourt, the state capital, whereas addressing enterprise house owners.

Wike stated: “That was how a governor was saying that he prays that Nigeria will get one other President like Buhari.

“I stated what has gone fallacious with him? You imply there shouldn’t be (a) psychiatric test on the governor? Sycophancy.

“And you recognize that the President knows that you’re telling lies to him. He (Buhari) is aware of.

“It’s unlucky. Could God assist us.”
