Funke Akindele-Bello Wins Lagos PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate (WATCH VIDEO)
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for governor of Lagos State, Olajide Adediran alias Jandor, has chosen the Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello as his running partner.
Abdul Rasheed Bello, an actress who recently divorced her husband, was a candidate for running mate.
In addition to Adediran’s replacement, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Kolawole Vaughan, Adenike Shobajo, and [Rasheed] Teslim-Balogun were the other four nominees.
In a post he published on July 6, 2022, political strategist and Twitter user Hon. Otaigbe Imadegbelo provided confirmation of this.
The governor’s race will be decided on March 11, 2023.

Recall, Pressinformant.com reported earlier that following rumors that Funke Akindele would be selected as the opposition party’s Deputy Governorship candidate, the actress has been seen with Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, a.k.a. Jandor, who is running for governor of Lagos.
There were supporters flanking the actress and the governor candidate, attempting to get pictures with them.
This occurs just a few days after Tonto Dikeh, a colleague, was named the ADC’s running mate for governor of Rivers State.
