After being mortified online for not being able to speak Igbo language effortlessly, Nigerian actress Munachi Abii has taken to social media to react.

She was speaking on BBC News Igbo on Friday, April 22 where she revealed all about her childhood, family and profession.

 

The former beauty queen in her narration spoke some Igbo which was mixed with bits of English however it wasn’t up to the expectation of her views who mocked her.

 

“I can never understand why people shame people who are visibly trying to speak their language to the best of their ability,” she wrote on her Instastory in reaction to the comments

“At least I can speak something. The people that are doing the shaming sef can’t speak any language properly and look like oiled sorrow.” she added.

 

 

In other news, former Big Brother Naija housemate, TBoss, has doled out some words of advice to parents and intending parents.

According to TBoss, taking on the role of a parent is not an easy task and comes with a lot of pain and sacrifices. She noted that if failures or mistakes are accepted, they should not happen during your role as a parent.

She made this disclosure in a fresh Instagram post via her official account. Sharing a loved up photo of herself and her beautiful daughter, she wrote;

“And if you would Fail at Everything else Try not to fail in your role as a Parent. It’s not easy, not even close but it’s so worth the pain, tears, time and all the sacrifices made.
Constantly looking up to God for direction.”
