First Batch Of Ghanaian Students Arrive Safely From Ukraine (Video)

First batch of Ghanaian students studying in Ukraine have reportedly arrived safely in Accra from Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion.

This comes shortly after a Ghanaian doctor based in Ukraine, Dr. Maame Araba Arkoah through the ministry of foreign affairs called on the Ghanaian government to evacuate Ghanaians citizens and students from the country are tension escalate.

The students who were in distress and in fear for their lives appealed to the Ghanaian government for them to be evacuated as soon as possible from the war-hit country.

Videos surfaced on SoCal media which captured some of these students secretly hiding underground to protect their lives while they await for a rescue team from Ghana.

Well, good news is that the first batch who were evacuated to Romania during the tensions in Ukraine have successfully arrived in Ghana, Accra.

Speaking with the media, one of the students thanked the Almighty God as well as the government and the ministry of foreign affairs for coming to their aid amid the tensions in Ukraine.

The young gentleman who revealed that he has been studying in Ukraine for five years also assured families in Ghana who have relatives in Ukraine to calm down as measures are being deployed to get every Ghanaian citizen in Ukraine back to Ghana.

In other news, American hip-hop rapper, Jeffery Lamar Williams, well known as Young Thug has revealed his intentions to rescues Africans who are currently stranded in Ukraine following Russia’s invasion.

On Thursday 24th February, Russia launched nuclear attacks on Ukraine which has reportedly led to the death of many. This attack was initiated in Ukraine and its southern neighbors by the order of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

There are reports of attacks on Ukrainian military infrastructure across the country, and Russian convoys entering from all directions.
