Fifty households of slain cops in Akwa Ibom get N20.8 million

A complete variety of fifty members of the family of cops who died whereas in energetic service in Akwa Ibom State have acquired cheques price Twenty Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira (₦20.8m) courtesy of the Inspector Basic of Police, Usman Baba Alkali’s Household welfare scheme.

The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State, CP Olatoye Durosinmi, Esq, whereas presenting the cheques on behalf of the IGP on the weekend stated the monumental lack of the fallen heroes was incomparable to the worth of the cheques.

He added that the token was the IGP’s method of claiming he feels their pains and would assist in ameliorating their plight.

In keeping with him, “The welfare package deal is geared toward ameliorating the hardship being skilled by the households of those that died in energetic service.”

He urged the recipients to reciprocate the type gesture of the IGP by making even handed use of the cash for the good thing about their households whilst he assured of the help of the Command always.
