England star Jordan Pickford ‘at centre of police probe after mass brawl in Tyneside pub’

England’s No 1 goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is reportedly on the centre of a police probe after a mass brawl broke out at a pub in South Tyneside on Sunday. 

Pickford, 27, was mocked for his ‘little arms’ and with associates ‘livid’, a fracas broke out in East Boldon, with one man left with a damaged nostril and one other with a smashed cellphone after he was filming the incident. 

The police are investigating and in search of witnesses however, as detailed in The Solar’s report on the incident, there is no such thing as a suggestion that the Everton goalkeeper assaulted anybody. 

Police rushed to the scene on the time believed to be 9pm on Sunday however, by this level, Pickford and his group had left the scene on the Beggar’s Bridge pub in a minibus.

The report particulars a witness saying: ‘He was getting goaded, like they do. All I heard was “little arm” after which that’s it. It kicked off. It occurred as quickly as they walked in. 

‘They hadn’t even had time to get a drink. One lad suffered a damaged nostril.

‘Pickford wasn’t harm in any respect. He was out of the door as quickly because it kicked off. Pickford’s group left by minibus earlier than the police got here.’

To date, no arrests have reportedly been made. 

A Northumbria Police spokesman mentioned: ‘We obtained a report of a disturbance on the Beggar’s Bridge pub.

‘It was reported {that a} struggle broke out between two teams of males contained in the premises. An investigation is ongoing. Anybody with data is requested to contact police.’

Everton declined to remark when approached by The Solar.  

Pickford was just lately teased by Newcastle followers, throughout a 3-1 defeat at St James’ Park final week.
