President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday spoke on the report launched by the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Associated Abuses and Different Issues.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had arrange the panel to look into the killings and assaults of protesters on the Lekki tollgate in Lagos.

We had earlier reported that the panel on Monday submitted the report to the state authorities indicting the army and the Nigerian police power.

The event has seen human rights activists, the worldwide neighborhood and a number of other others name on the federal authorities to behave on the report of the Lagos State panel.

President Buhari on Thursday throughout a gathering with US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, mentioned his administration will look into the report after the Lagos State Authorities has concluded work on it.

In the meantime, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, has condemned the leakage of the report of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry.

Falana in an interview on Channels Tv’s Dawn Day by day, on Wednesday, mentioned the leaked model of the report might jeopardize the thorough work performed by the panel.

The human rights activist, nevertheless, requested the state authorities to solely launch the report after a White Paper has been raised.
