FRANKFURT (Reuters) – The European Central Financial institution doesn’t have to stay to a set dimension or frequency of rates of interest hikes as these will depend upon inflation, the financial institution’s chief economist Philip Lane mentioned on Thursday.

“The dimensions and frequency of rate of interest strikes depend upon the form of regime you assume you’re in,” Lane mentioned. “I’m not saying (25 foundation factors) is a nasty increment however there are different increments potential.”
