A Nigerian doctor has taken to Twitter to share the humanitarian act executed by a good Samaritan who visited her hospital.

Dr Ofure Igue revealed that the man paid a kid’s hospital bill to the tune of N2.4 million after finding out the child’s mother could not come up with that amount of money.

She revealed that the good Samaritan paid a visit to the hospital and inquired about patients that need financial help and as fate would have it, a child needed assistance.

The man reportedly offset the bill and left without informing the kid’s mother, who was overjoyed on hearing the news.

Ofure wrote; ”Some guy came around quietly the other day to ask for patients that needed financial help and cleared some child’s 2.4million naira bill, he left before the child’s mother got the news. She almost ran mad.”

Reacting, @deshola55 said; This reminds me of a woman that found me crying when I was much younger then proceeded to pay for my 3terms school fees, bought me text books, new bag, shoes and even gave me food allowance, she left before the sch could contacted my mum. I still think she’s an angel

@rotilaw; All those praying that one day they can do something like this.

@ayegbajeje_; This happen a lot at Massey Street Children Hospital.

When my baby was in the ICU with other infants, good hearted individuals would just come around and pay about 50k on each child bill in advance. I’m doing my best to give, I pray I get better at giving those in need.

That is not how it works actually. Start today, start now. You don’t have to be able to afford N2.4 Min. If you can’t have N1k in your pocket, and give out 500 to the next guy, you won’t be able to give N2.4 min

@molabquality; Till date, I don’t kwn who pay for one of my mum dialysis session fee at gbagada general hospital till date. mum is late now but I am sure….God will continue to provide and protect this person because mum prayed for him/her when she heard.
