Did Leo and Kate date?

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio starred as love interests in their 1990s film Titanic, and 25 years since the film debuted it seems the Titanic stars are as fond of each other as ever.

Rumours about Kate and Leonardo dating have been circulating since they starred in Titanic together. However, they never dated.

Just over a decade after Titanic, Winslet and DiCaprio featured in Revolutionary Road, a post-war romance drama about a seemingly ideal but really unhappy couple.

Following the film’s release, rumours of a romance between the two circulated, although both claimed they were only good friends.

When kate won her Best Actress prize at the 2009 Golden Globes, Winslet did express her love for DiCaprio. She said the sweetest thing about her co-star at the time while fighting back tears.

‘Leo, I’m so glad I can stand here and tell you how much I love you, and how much I’ve loved you for the past 13 years,’ she told her friend. ‘I truly adore you with all of my heart.’

DiCaprio reportedly walked Winslet down the aisle when she married her husband Edward Abel Smith in 2012, confirming the actual extent of their friendship.
