Coping with an worker that went over my head

I deal with a small group and currently employed for a model new place. Throughout the job posting it clearly mentioned that the work hours are from 8:00-4:30. No issues about these hours had been talked about by the interview course of the least bit.

Not too way back after accepting the job present, the model new lease expressed an issue with the hours of labor, and proposed their very personal hours. The hours weren’t even fixed each single day, they requested completely totally different work hours for on daily basis of the week (they did all add as a lot because the an identical complete number of hours). I rejected this request.

The employee(sooner than the first day of labor), then emailed my superior with the an identical request and was accredited.

How do I keep it up managing an employee that is eager to go correct over my head on an issue like this? How do I sort out this with my supervisor so that it doesn’t happen as soon as extra. ( the first phrases out of my managers mouth should have been “Have you ever ever discyed this collectively together with your direct supervisor first?” )
