Damon Arnette arrested for assault with deadly weapon, released by Chiefs

The Kansas Metropolis Chiefs launched cornerback Damon Arnette following his arrest Friday evening in Las Vegas for assault with a lethal weapon.

NFL Community’s Tom Pelissero studies Arnette was charged with two counts of assault with a lethal weapon, carrying a hid weapon with no allow, and two counts of possession of managed substances, per Clark County data.

In November, theLas Vegas Raiders launched the cornerback after he posted an Instagram story pointing a gun on the digicam, threatening to kill somebody. The Raiders’ 2020 first-round decide then signed with the Miami Dolphins‘ apply squad in December.

On Jan. 20, the Chiefs signed Arnette to a reserves/futures contract with a dedication to intense counseling and 0 tolerance, Pelissero reported. Arnette, 25, performed in simply 13 video games over two years and made seven begins — all with the Raiders.
