Dakota Johnson may be getting into the Spider-Verse. In line with “The Hollywood Reporter,” the 32-year-old actor is in talks to star because the titular character within the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff “Madame Net,” which might make her the primary girl superhero to look in Sony’s Marvel universe.

Whereas no different particulars have been launched, Madame Net seems within the comics as an aged girl with myasthenia gravis, who’s linked to a life-support system that resembles an internet. Attributable to her medical situation, she by no means actively fights any villains. It is unclear if this can change for Johnson’s character.

The Sony film will likely be directed by S.J. Clarkson, with Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless writing the screenplay. A launch date has but to be introduced.
