Jack Simmons was an English former cricketer who played for the likes of the Lancashire County Cricket Club and the Tasmania cricket team. Jack Simmons is an alumnus of the Accrington Technical School and the Blackburn Technical College.

Jack Simmons was born in Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire, on March 28, 1941, hence, he was 80 years of age at the time of his death. Jack Simmons served as the County Chairman of Lancashire County Cricket Club and also served as Chairman of Cricket for the England and Wales Cricket Board.
