Guests at a state park in Florida witnessed an uncommon sight over the weekend. Whereas it’s not unusual for Floridians to see alligators, they’re often shifting round.
Robin Goff Austin shared pictures to Fb of a gator she noticed at Myakka State Park. The massive animal was sitting close to the river’s financial institution, staying nonetheless and holding a fish in its mouth.
“The gator simply laid there. He didn’t transfer the entire time I watched him and taking photos. He by no means moved,” Austin instructed Fox 13 in Tampa. “I assume gator was chilly. Caught this fish and type of didn’t know what to do with him on the time.”

Austin believes that the fish within the gator’s mouth was a snook. On Fb, she wrote that it’s her favourite type of fish.
The temperature in Florida was colder than the state’s common local weather, that means that it’s seemingly that the gator was cold-stunned. When cold-blooded animals are uncovered to chilly temperatures and waters for prolonged intervals of time, this may trigger them to grow to be sluggish and inactive.
Alligators are a standard sight in Florida.
Fox Information beforehand reported {that a} group of golfers witnessed a gator carry a fish throughout a golf course in early January.
Mike Murphy captured pictures of the scene on the Tara Gold and Nation Membership in Bradenton. He and a gaggle of golfers witnessed the gator emerge from one of many course’s lakes.
The gator then walked throughout the course in the direction of one of many different lakes. Apparently, it needed to take its lunch with it on the journey.
